Welcome to week one of Nathans blog!!! I am no blog connoisseur so you will have to bear with me while I get the hang of what to post, and how to make this fun for all! This blog has the purpose of unfolding to you the mystery of Nathans week and the wonderful adventures he has. As you can tell by the title we had an interesting yet prodigious several days. So lets begin....
Starting with spit...as some of you may know Nathans mom, Becky, got him some new foods to try. Well, some of them Nathan clearly likes, such as Reese's (who wouldn't), different kinds of cookies, apple sauce, and, the star of this story...ravioli. As it turns out Nathan likes Ravioli...in moderation. To illustrate this point he waited till one of his caregivers was right in front of him and spewed out his Ravioli...I'm sure it was on accident, but it landed right in the face of that caregiver. After that happened he was just fine and continued chewing. Lesson learned...give him smaller spoonfulls...as evidence by the chocolate picture. It was all very comical and well timed...on Nathan's part.
On a more serious note Nathan had a slight stomach ache this week. He was a trooper though and didn't really complain even when you could tell he was in some pain trying to flush his system. He really is a great example to all those who work with him of the old adage "just grin and bear it"!
Okay, back to the fun! Nathan really enjoyed having his 2 sisters, brother in-laws, niece and nephew over this week. He got to watch them struggle to figure out one of his favorite games (Tiko Drum Master), have them come to school with him, and see his cute niece in her Tinkerbell costume for Halloween. He really loves his family and is so grateful for their love for him and attention to him!
Well that is it for this week! Sorry for the long post, but it is the first so you'll just have to deal with it! Tune in next week to see what other crazy adventures unfold! Ciao!
